Welcome to the Squamish Athletic Club

The Squamish Athletic Club is a no-nonsense fitness club whose mission is to provide a fun and friendly facility where people can meet and surpass their personal fitness goals, regardless of age , ability, or existing fitness level.

We understand the hectic lifestyle many people have and we don’t want to slow you down. We want to see you come to the gym, get your workout done with no hassle, then go. Whether you are a recreational fitness enthusiast or an elite level athlete, a weekend warrior or trying to lose weight, we want to give you the core you need to get the job done.

With 4000 square feet of space, our main gym boasts 12 pieces of cardio equipment, free weights, body master and apex machines. In our studio/stretching space, we have spin bikes, aerobics steps, bands, skipping ropes, medicine balls, mats, balance boards and body balls..

Take a look at our class schedule. At the moment we offer yoga and spin classes, which are free to members. We also have a boot camp class provided by Go Figure Fitness. (There is an additional cost for this class).

To make everyone's workout a little more pleasant, please keep the following house rules in mind when you are working out.

1. Put your weights away when you are finished.

2. When putting weights away stack them neatly. Do not put heavy weights in front of lighter weights.

3. Do not drop weights; if you have to they are too heavy for you in the first place.

4. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing, absolutely no muddy shoes.

5. Wipe down equipment when you are finished.

6. No swearing, fighting or inappropriate behavior towards staff or other participants.

7. All participants must sign in.

8. All attachments and soft goods (i.e. bars, belts, bosu balls etc.) must be put back in their place of origin.

9. Minors under the age of 16 must have adult supervision or signed permission.

10. Be respectful of others around you. During busy periods “work in” and share the space with everyone.
